BIO

Albert Bouchard is best known as a founding member of the legendary Blue Öyster Cult. The original band sold over 25 million records worldwide with such classic songs as the iconic “Don’t Fear the Reaper” and “Burning for You”. Albert was an essential songwriter, vocalist, and drummer with the band during the hit-making glory years. Albert is a solo artist, as well as being a member of the group Blue Coupe (along with his brother and fellow BOC founding member, Joe Bouchard, and original Alice Cooper bassist, Dennis Dunaway), and he also performs as a duo with his brother under the name The Bouchard Brothers. Albert is forever cemented in pop culture as his infamous cowbell part in “Don’t Fear the Reaper” was the basis of the classic Will Ferrell “More Cowbell” skit on Saturday Night Live, which also starred Christopher Walken. In 2020, Albert formed RockHeart Records with his brother, an imprint label through Deko Entertainment/Warner Brothers. Albert’s first release through the label was “Re Imaginos”, a reimagining of the classic Blue Oyster Cult album, “Imaginos”, an album mostly written by Albert along with former BOC manager, Sandy Pearlman, that was originally set to be Albert’s debut solo album after his departure from the band.

Anastasia Elliot approaches her entire music career with nothing but the bigger picture in mind. Like a painter standing in front of a canvas, she views everything with a “whole world or nothing” mentality. One part singer/songwriter and one-part visual artist, she cannot feel satisfied until she has created an entire immersive universe for her listeners, casting broad auditory strokes of symphonic power pop/rock, then mixing them harmoniously with mind-bending visuals. Everything is meticulously planned to ensure optimal delivery of her vision.

Currently based out of Nashville, Tennessee, Anastasia recently released her debut album, “La Petite Mort”. In just a short time, Anastasia has accumulated over 400,000 digital streams and almost 2 million views on YouTube and counting, as well as many live television performances. She has hosted multiple panels at NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants) in partnership with A3E on the future of music and technology and is a motivational speaker in high schools, colleges, and corporations focusing on healing trauma and mental illness with creativity. This includes a lecture partnering with NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) for high schoolers during Covid.

Anastasia dedicated her life to mastering the art of the visual. She has become a DIY expert in everything from music videos to photography, fashion design to social media content. She can take a tiny budget and make it appear as if she has the full force of a label behind her and has recently expanded into producing and directing music videos for other artists. Her fans, which she affectionately calls The Purple Cult, aren’t just a group of people but rather a movement through which she hopes to inspire a creative revolution that will help people find their artistry and turn their mundane into something extraordinary.

For over a decade, Black Sabbitch has been selling out shows and wowing even the most difficult-to-please Sabbath worshipers, gaining a rabid fan base and the respect of critics, fans and musicians alike. They have become festival favorites, consistently performing with some of the world’s biggest acts, in a world seldom traveled by your typical “tribute” band. Black Sabbitch were hand-picked by Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne to open the inaugural Ozzfiesta and by Dave Grohl to play Cal Jam with Foo Fighters and Iggy Pop, after which the FooFighters shared photos of Black Sabbitch saying “We were spellbound.”

They have played multiple headlining sets at Psycho Las Vegas and The Maryland Doom Fest and most recently were chosen by Paul Stanley to play The 2022 Kiss Kruise. Nick Zinner of The Yeah Yeah Yeahs chose Black Sabbitch to headline his curated festival Bedrocktoberfest and legendary street artist Shepard Fairey had Black Sabbitch open his Black Sabbath retrospective, Never Say Die. Electroclash superstar Peaches recently sat in as lead vocalist with Black Sabbitch for a special two-night run in Los Angeles.

Liz Brasher released her tough-as-nails debut, “Painted Image”, in 2019. It cemented Brasher as an artist who wasn’t afraid to draw upon her experiences in order to paint a raw and authentic portrait of who she strives to be as an artist and person. Her background in singing gospel hymns in a Spanish-speaking church provided the foundation, as well as her background as a Southern-bred woman with Dominican and Italian blood. “Painted Image” was the spark, but her forthcoming sophomore effort, “Baby Damn”, sees her flourish and her growth pronounced.

After signing with Blue Élan Records, Brasher — armed with her arsenal of demos that included ready-made harmonies, bass, drums, guitar, and piano — headed into the studio to bring the songs she recorded alone to life. She hunkered down at the legendary Sunset Sound studio with famed producer Joe Chiccarelli and an all-star group of musicians, including Matt Chamberlain (drums), Sean Hurley (bass), Roger Manning (keys) and David Levita (guitar). My Morning Jacket’s Carl Broemel (pedal steel), Bones UK’s Carmen Vandenberg (guitar) and Oliver Kraus (cello) were enlisted during the overdubbing process. Brasher harnessed the angst she felt in Memphis and subsequent rebirth in Southern California to create a body of work that is intimately bold.

The Obsessed

BIO

The Obsessed have become known around the world for their influential contribution to the origins and continued legacy of the doom metal and underground hard rock genres. The distinctive vocals and guitar wizardry of legendary founder and driving force Scott “Wino” Weinrich has left a mark on the world of heavy music that continues to inspire. Wino has been highly influential in helping develop and codify doom metal’s trademark sound and he is also considered an influential figure in the stoner rock and punk rock genres.

The Obsessed gained momentum in the Baltimore/DC area of the USA in the early to mid-1980’s during the height of the hardcore punk movement. Often cited as the band that bridged heavy metal and punk together, the band gained the respect of punk heavy weight contemporaries Black Flag, The Bad Brains, and Minor Threat, to name a few. The attitude and spirit of The Obsessed has led many to regard them as “America’s Motorhead”.

In 1990, The Obsessed released their eponymous debut album, “The Obsessed”. This album was quickly followed by 1991’s “Lunar Womb” and 1994’s “The Church Within”.

In 2016, Wino reunited The Obsessed, once and for all, and has been kicking ass and taking names ever since. Drummer Brian “Dawg” Costantino joined the band at this time. The band signed to Relapse Records and recorded 2017’s “Sacred”, an album showing The Obsessed back with pure vengeance. Sacred brought the band to venues and festival stages around the world.

In 2022 the band became a four piece with the addition of Chris Angleberger on bass and Jason Taylor on guitar. The band has been touring heavily ever since and have been seen on USA and European festival stages such as HellFest, Freak Valley Festival, Snowblind Festival, and Desert Fest.

The band’s forthcoming album, ‘Gilded Sorrow’, is set to be released in February 2024 on Ripple Music and marks a new chapter in their legacy. The album promises to capture the essence of the band’s classic sound while adding a fresh new atmosphere with a dual guitar attack.

Since their inception, Ritual King has consistently pushed the boundaries of their genre, weaving intricate tales both musically and lyrically, and taking listeners on a kaleidoscopic journey of sound.

Formed in the vibrant heart of Manchester’s underground metal scene in 2016, the members of Ritual King came together with a shared desire to create something that defied easy categorization. Each member brought their unique influences to the table: from classic hard rock to the otherworldly echoes of progressive psych, elements of folk, and the gritty underpinnings of stoner rock. The result is a heady mix that’s as meditative as it is mosh-worthy.

Ritual King’s live performances are a testament to their musical prowess and electric chemistry, notably touring the UK and Europe since 2017 and embarking on tours with the likes of Weedpecker, gaining slots at Freak Valley Festival in Germany as well as support slots playing alongside the likes of Atomic Bitchwax, Nebula and Colour Haze. On stage, they transcend the confines of the studio to truly bring their music to life. This dynamic energy has garnered them a fanbase across the UK and beyond.

The band’s discography showcases their evolution and range. From the raw, visceral creations of their early 2018 EP entitled Earthrise, riff-laden journeys of their 2020 first self-titled album, Ritual King is never content to rest on their laurels. Each release is an invitation into their world, one where musical conventions are challenged, and where listeners are encouraged to lose themselves in the band’s expansive sonic landscapes.

Saigon Kick

Jason Bieler & Phil Varone, with much vim and vigor yet also reluctantly announce “a celebration of the 30th Anniversary of the Water album and other assorted Saigon Kick music.” (While not technically a farewell tour, nor a reunion, if you know anything about Saigon Kick…there is a solid 74-78.4% chance this will never happen again).

‘Water’ is the third album from Saigon Kick that was released near the end of 1993 on Third Stone/Atlantic Records, and was the follow up to their Gold certified selling album ‘The Lizard’. ‘Water’ included the singles ‘One Step Closer’, ‘I Love You’ and the shimmering cover of David Bowie’s ‘Space Oddity’. The album later gained cult status among fans worldwide, especially in Indonesia, where the band sold out arenas across the country.

Phil & Jason represent 50% of the original Saigon Kick lineup, which, in some cases is 100% more original members than those “other” legacy bands are touring with. Actually, since this is a celebration of the Water record and by then SK was a 3 piece, you are actually getting 66.6% of the original line up of that record, so let’s call it 75%.

Jason and Phil are both confident that they will be operating at at least 95% capacity (of their previously mentioned collective 50% share), for 98% of the shows, but promise no less than 85% at any given show, 100% of the time. Please keep in mind that they both feel that they are functioning at their highest levels, so we can optimistically estimate they will be 30% better than when you last saw them. If you’ve never seen them, you’ll have to do your own math.

This is in no small part due to the addition of Stephen Gibb. We could mention that he played with Zakk Wylde and Crowbar, but then we would sound like name droppers. Stephen was an original member of the Saigon Kick reunion shows 7-10 years ago, so he’s not technically an OG “original” of the 1991 “originals”, but if you first experienced a Saigon Kick show in Chicago in 2015, to you, Stephen is an original member. Although Phil was not there, but Jonathan Mover was (yet he never played on any Saigon Kick albums, but he did play with Aretha Franklin), but we digress.

In addition to celebrating the anniversary of Water’s release with a heavy dose of the album’s cuts set to be performed live, Saigon Kick will also touch on highlights and live staples from their diverse catalog including their fourth release ‘Devil in the Details’, their self-titled debut, and sophomore release ‘The Lizard’ which included hit single ‘All I Want’ and the top Billboard charting power ballad ‘Love is on the Way’.

Ten Years After

It has been over fifty years since the release of the eponymous 1967 debut album from the legendary Ten Years After. The British band may be best known for their 1971 Platinum selling album, “A Space in Time”, which featured the iconic Top 40 hit, “I’d Love to Change the World“, a song that remains as relevant today as when it was first released some fifty years ago.

The beginning of Ten Years After’s meteoric rise to fame can be pinpointed to their performance at The Woodstock Music and Arts Festival in August of 1969. The audience was blown away by the intensity of the band’s performance and their unique combination of jazz, blues, and rock. Their fantastic nine-minute rendition of “I’m Going Home” was featured in both the subsequent film and soundtrack album and catapulted them to international star status. This would make them one of the biggest bands of the early ’70s.

Original members Ric Lee (drums) and Chick Churchill (keys) have continued the band’s legacy and are rounded out by multi-award-winning guitarist/vocalist, Marcus Bonfanti, and bass icon, Colin Hodgkinson. This line-up has been performing across the globe since 2014, as well as releasing the studio album, “A Sting in the Tale”, in 2017, followed by the live album, “Naturally Live”, in 2019. Both albums were reissued in North America with Deluxe Editions through Deko Entertainment/Warner Brothers in 2021.
